Harry Potter Book Report

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are now 15 years old and Lord Voldemort (and evil wizard) has made a comeback. This time Voldemort is out to steal something. Something that he didn’t have last time, a secret weapon. Knowing this Albus Dumbledore (a great and wise wizard), sets up a group called “The Order of the Phoenix”. The order consists of Sirius, Lupin, Tonks, Kingsly, Dumbledore, Bill Weasley, Charlie Weasley and Dumbledore just to name a few. The order’s main priorities are to: ensure Harry is safe, ensure Voldemort doesn’t get hold of the weapon, convince the wizarding world that Voldemort has indeed returned and to try and cause him to take longer to take full control. In this book Harry dreams about the weapon and its whereabouts. Professor Dumbledore finds out and doesn’t think it’s safe for Harry so he gets Professor Snape to teach Harry how to block these dreams. Harry though finds it very hard and is sometimes in doubt about whether he really wants the dreams to be blocked. Harry also becomes very moody towards Ron and Hermione and constantly will snap at them. A lot of the time Harry feels like he isn’t receiving the full answer or he feels he’s being shunned. He also finds that Dumbledore will no longer look him straight in the eye. All of this makes Harry very confused and annoyed and often turns to his god father, Sirius Black, for help. In this book Harry’s relationship with Sirius goes to the extent of Harry thinking of Sirius as a mix of a father and brother. Lord Voldemort finds out about this and may take advantage by doing something that will dramatically change Harry Potter’s life……
